Well we finally got underway! We left Grand Rapids on Aug. 10th after hearing that Dad was doing much better as the doctors have his meds under control.
Our first stop was in Happy Rock (Gladstone MI) where we spend a couple of days with our good friends John & Jeanne Lindberg. They own a resort on Little Bay de Noc (LBDN) where I've been going fishing for about 24 plus years. Jeanne also rode her 3-wheel bike across the southern tier with Arda. They are great people and if you ever get a chance to go their way, be sure to stop in and say hi!
We are now headed to Schroeder MN where are good friends from Texas, Gale and Don Ring, live. Don's Mom also lives with them who at 90 something is a real character. We will be here for a few days before heading to Calgary to visit my brother Al.
I'll update this again when I have something to say. In the meantime, keep your loops open.
